As of March 1, 2023, Microsoft has introduced a new policy regarding Certification Exams. As per this policy, Microlanders will need to pay 50% of the exam fees while scheduling for the exam, and after successfully completing the certification, you can apply for reimbursement.

What is Microsoft LxP?

The Learner Experience Portal (LxP) was created to deliver the best possible experience for learners by centralizing all of the critical components of the training & certification into one portal.

What types of trainings are available on LxP?

The LxP provides access to the following types of training:

  • Self-paced guided learning paths and modules on Microsoft Learn
  • Fundamentals learning events, called Microsoft Virtual Training Days
  • Microsoft instructor-led courses
  • Practice Tests

What is fundamental training?

Fundamental training is designed to provide foundational understanding of Microsoft technologies. A springboard for deeper role based learning paths, fundamental training is intended for learners with nontechnical backgrounds that require more experience with cloud based solutions and services.

Fundamental trainings are part of the Microsoft virtual training day events:

  • Azure fundamentals
  • Dynamic 365 fundamentals
  • Power platform fundamentals
  • Microsoft 365 fundamentals

Are Microsoft certification exam costs included in the program?

Yes, 50% discount is provided for all Fundamental, Role based & specialty paths like AZ, AI, DP, MS, MD, PL, MB & SC Tracks. Exams for other Microsoft certifications are NOT included in the program such as MTA, MCSA, MCSD & MCSE.

What is role based training?

Role based training is designed to build the skills required to perform industry job role on Microsoft platforms and technologies, discussing on solutions rather than products. These skills range from managing on premises, hybrid or cloud infrastructure, to innovating with the best-in class application, to support apps and infrastructure with data and analytics-all with proper security considerations.

Are the training & certification reimbursements subject to any agreement?

No, Training & Certification sponsorship agreement is not applicable for this program as long as the cost is less than INR 10,000.

Can an individual enroll for multiple Certifications within the timelines of the program?

Yes, however please note that each certification track requires an individual to dedicate adequate time for preparation. Also the exams are pretty challenging & therefore we would recommend to opt for multiple certifications only if you have the bandwidth and commitment in completing it within the stipulated time.
